Fashion (Social Media) Marketing Internship
Job Description: Mila & Me – a female-owned and operated fashion-forward small business, – is looking for creative and passionate help with social media marketing for unique tie dye apparel. The experience offers hands-on experience into the business operations, creative process, marketing strategies, including working with top influencers, at a fast-growing and fast-paced fashion startup.
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Applicants can earn course credit from an accredited college or university at which the application is previously enrolled. Interns are expected to work between 10-20 hours per week for the duration of the semester. Actual schedules will vary based on availability and course load. The position could eventually transition into a paid position.
Job qualifications:
- Proficient in various social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (strong preference for applicants fluent in English and Spanish, but not required)
- Resourceful, organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Have a sense of humor
Job duties:
- Actively manage the Mila & Me brand across all social media accounts, identifying and analyzing trends, to increase positive brand engagement;
- Leverage positive brand engagement into sales by creating and implementing marketing campaigns across multiple channels;
- Represent the brand to social media influencers and other fashion brands searching for opportunities to collaborate;
- Lead SMM to drive sales, follower growth, and brand awareness; and
- Various administrative tasks, as needed.
